Tiger Monkey Studios

Tiger Monkey Studios supported 16 emerging young artists across the London Borough of Enfield.  Funded by Arts Council England this programme was piloted as part of Enfield's Summer University in 2019 and worked to develop creative practice and arts leadership skills in the community as well as the Gold Arts Award level three qualification.  The young artists have attended evening and holiday based studio sessions at Allen Pullinger Youth Centre and worked with artist Dan Maier in her Extraordinary Design Southgate Studio.  Mentors supported young people remotely and arts materials were provided to work at home during the lockdown.  The programme continued throughout Covid-19 affected times and culminated with 6 Gold Awardees who have gone onto study Drama/Musical Theatre at Laban Theatre School,  Film at York University, Animation at UAL as well as make films for Enfield Summer Uni, run workshops in local schools and work professionally with Tiger Monkey as artists in their own right.
